Football is an art that is so abstract and subjective to each and everyone of the enthusiast. Over the years of running a FC Barcelona Supporters community, this club has such vast individuality in the way each of us portray our passion towards FC Barcelona. From poser fans to outright crazy die hard, here are 7 types of FC Barcelona fans you might know of.

1. The Sleeping Beauty

We all know the struggle, we feel you. Not everyone has the will to stay up until 3AM for a La Liga game. These sleeping beauties are the ones who always skips the late game, but watches all the earlier games. Its hard to be a Barcelona fan in this region. Sometimes they do question themselves, "why do I have to fall in love with a club so far in Europe". Some of them watches the replays of the game later that day, but some settles with only highlights.

2. The History Channel

These are the types who chose the remain in the past. Most of them are in their mid 40's, and surely enough hates all the new-coming Barcelona fans. They'd rarely watch games these days anymore, but they will confidently label the new fans as bandwagon fans. All we hear from them are the history of how they supported Barcelona during Gaspart years or when Barca was still playing the UEFA Cup.

We admire your passion, but please move on already.

3. The Tactician

They watch football like puzzles that needs to be solved. They watch and re-watch the games to see the thing they missed, they have the urgency to know why we loss, or even why we won. They analyse statistics, heat maps and spaces. They just see the football beyond the 22 players and a ball.

But there are also other types of tacticians, the one who plays Football Manager and think of himself as the greatest coach of all time. Every things he said is straight out of Football Manager vocabulary.

4. The Fan Boy

Their love for Barcelona is questionable, but their love for a specific player is so evident. They all there is to know about their favorite player, they imitate them and glorify them. Everytime their favorite players name is mentioned, they will go head over heels crazy. They will talk about them day and night and that is the only thing they know. When their favorite player leaves the club, its unsure of how they would still remain the club fan.

5. The Anti Madridista

He loves FC Barcelona, but more than that, he hates Real Madrid. He trolls Real Madrid almost always. A Real Madrid loss is the best news, he celebrates them more than a Barcelona win. Wonder what the poor club did to him that he hates them so much.

6. The Tiki Taka

It doesnt matter if its a goalless draw, this guy enjoys tiki taka to the max. Tiki Taka gives him the orgasm. He is obsessed with triangles and passes. Win, lose or tie, he loves tiki taka till he dies.

7. The Social Guy

He hates watching football alone, or rather he loves the community. Anywhere there is a football matchview, he shows up with his Barcelona jersey. He celebrates each and every goal with roar and hugs. He keeps the supporters club community alive with is enthusiasm and passion.
